Young Farmers Raise Money for Local Air Ambulance

9th Apr 2018

We are supporting the Norton and Gaulby Young Farmers Club in raising money for our local air ambulance!

Derbyshire Leicestershire and Rutland Air AmbulanceNorton and Gaulby Young Farmers Club have taken on the 162 mile bike ride from Kibworth to Blackpool in aid of the Derbyshire, Leicestershire and Rutland Air Ambulance - a charity very close to the heart of many of the local Young Farmers.

Ten years ago, Sam Standbridge, brother of two of the club members, James and Charlotte Standbridge, tragically died in a farm accident. The air ambulance attended on the day and have been a big focus for the family ever since.

Ten cyclists have been in training and will be setting off from the Standbridge's farm in Kibworth on 1st May to make Blackpool in time for the Club's AGM and raise funds for the air ambulance.

Good luck to the riders, hope you have a fantastic time!
