Contact our team on 01858 462 839 to find out more about the Royal Canin Satiety Diet and Obesity Diet, and discuss your pet’s ideal weight and dietary requirements.
All animals vaccinated by us are Total Care members. This means that they are entitled to FREE nurse consultations at our Market Harborough surgery, including Weight Clinics; where you will receive advice on diet and exercise to help your pet lose excess pounds or maintain a healthy weight. It's not always just about losing weight, but making sure your pet is the right weight for their age, breed and activity level.
We are also offering £3 off any purchase of 1.5kg or larger bags, or 12 cans of Royal Canin Satiety diet, or 12 pouches of Royal Canin Obesity diet.
ROYAL CANIN® Satiety Diet
Satiety contains a high level of protein, which helps maintain muscle mass and promotes patient satiety when used as an energy source. Palatability is maintained by ensuring a good supply of high quality (and highly digestible) protein: important for patient and client compliance.
The Satiety diets also contain an adapted high fibre blend which increases gastric content/volume and reduces feelings of hunger by delaying gastric emptying. This helps to increase the feeding volume; ensuring owner compliance is high and reduces the “undesirable” begging behaviours often seen by clients.
Glucosamine and Chondroitin help to maintain mobility in stressed joints of overweight pets and the inclusion of essential fatty acids (omega 3 and omega 6) support a healthy skin and coat health.
As well as all these benefits, Satiety Small Dog includes specific nutrients which help maintain oral health and both this and Feline Satiety contains the S/O index to promote urinary health.
ROYAL CANIN® Obesity Diet
Obesity contains a high protein content, which helps maintain muscle mass throughout the weight loss period. A high level of protein in the diet increases palatability and creates a sense of feeling full (a satiotegenic effect).
Essential fatty acids (omega 3 and omega 6) support a healthy skin and coat health and the inclusion of Glucosamine and Chondroitin help maintain mobility in the stressed joints of overweight pets.
Feline Obesity also contains the S/O index to promote urinary health.
