Especially dark chocolate is toxic to dogs, so keep Easter eggs and other treats well out of reach.

The raisins in hot cross buns are toxic to dogs, and can have serious  consequences if eaten.


Easter Toys

Make sure all toys found in Easter eggs and decorations are kept out of reach of pets so they don’t choke, swallow them or injure their mouths.



Some hard sweets contain a sweetner called xylitol, which is extremely toxic to pets. Keep them out of reach of pets.



Lilies can be highly toxic to cats, with the ingestion of even small amounts of the plant potentially resulting in kidney failure. Daffodils, crocuses, and tulips can also be dangerous to both cats and dogs.
