Saturday Receptionist

We are looking for an experienced Receptionist to cover Saturdays. The right candidate will need to be IT literate, possess excellent communication skills and be able to cope well under pressure in a busy environment. The role will be based in Market Harborough.

Registered Veterinary Nurse

We have a vacancy for a qualified veterinary nurse. If you would like to join our professional team, providing excellent clinical services and client care, then we would love to hear from you.

We offer 38 hours per week on a rota basis, working from our multi-site, small animal practice. No emergency out-of-hours on call.

General duties to include:

  • Assisting vets as requested
  • Theatre nursing, including; preparation of patients for surgery, anaesthetic monitoring, and assessing the patient pre and post- surgery
  • Taking blood samples and placing intravenous catheters
  • Laboratory tasks such as blood analysis and other diagnostics
  • Administering medications
  • Providing advice to clients
  • Handling and restraint of all species
  • Dispense of medicines as appropriate
  • Providing appropriate levels of care to all patients and alerting qualified members of the team when concerned
  • Communication to the wider team on patient status
  • Taking ownership of personal CPD requirement in line with RCVS guidelines
  • Reception duties

Veterinary Surgeon

An opportunity has arisen to join our thriving, multi-centre, small animal practice, based in Market Harborough. This lovely market town with beautiful surrounding villages was listed by the Sunday Times as one of the best places to live in Britain. We are seeking an experienced full-time Veterinary Surgeon, with excellent clinical and customer skills. We will offer an attractive salary package to the right candidate, with long term opportunities available to develop clinically. Our main surgery has been extensively refurbished providing us with all the diagnostic equipment required to investigate all first and some second opinion cases. There is ample opportunity to work up a diverse range of cases that walk through our doors. You will be supported and encouraged to undertake CPD and share your learning with your colleagues. You will work a 4 ½ day week with time off to ensure a good work life balance.

New Graduate Veterinary Surgeon

We have an exciting opportunity for a New Graduate Veterinary Surgeon to join our established team. We are seeking an enthusiastic new graduate vet, with a real passion for providing excellent care for their clients and their animals to enhance our friendly, supportive and professional team of 13 vets and 8 RVNs.

We have a loyal customer following based on our exceptionally high level of clinical services and client-care. We will offer an attractive salary package to the right candidate. Long term opportunities are available to develop both clinically and within the business, and we offer a comprehensive graduate training programme.
